Big Sky Precision was founded in 1993 and began as a 400 sq ft shop. Paul Chausse' President, took his background in engineering electro-optics and began producing precision parts for high-tech, sports, wristwatch and medical manufacturers. Paul's goal was to invent, manufacture and market a proprietary product line. In 1998 Paul Chausse' realized his goal and the Sky-Loc fastener line was born. The patented Sky-Loc has now grown to a product line of over 1,000 different quick-release styles with unlimited solutions for various fastening applications around the world.
Big Sky Precision is set up for both small and large production capabilities and currently ships batch sizes ranging from a single prototype to thousands of fasteners per week.
Sky-Loc fasteners account for a large percentage of Big Sky Precision's business. The company continues to pride itself on creative design and engineering, prototype creation and manufacturing unique solutions in extremely short time frames. Custom-designed fasteners for specific applications now make up a great deal of our current production. Daily satisfying such industries as wheelchair/mobility, motorcycle accessories, marine accessories and audio systems.
